What is Vaser Lipo?
Vaser Lipo™ is a next-generation liposuction system that utilizes ultrasound energy to selectively target and break up unwanted fat cells, offering a gentler alternative to traditional liposuction techniques. With Vaser Lipo, you can achieve smoother, more precise results with less pain, swelling, and downtime, allowing you to return to your daily activities sooner.
How is Vaser Lipo Performed?
Vaser Lipo by Dr. Michael Kerin begins with the application of a local anesthetic to the treatment area, followed by the delivery of custom ultrasound energy to melt and liquefy targeted fat cells. Once liquified, the fat cells are gently suctioned out through a small cannula. The procedure time varies based on the number of areas being treated and can take as little as an hour or may require several hours.
After Vaser Lipo, patients are required to wear a special compression garment to aid in skin contraction and adjust to their newly sculpted body contours.
