MICHAEL KERIN MD
Dr. Michael Kerin’s belief is that great results begin by listening to the patient. The initial consultation is a conversation to find out what each patient wants to accomplish. Once each patient’s goals are established, then the correct treatments can be determined and expectations can be met. Educating the patient with regards to treatment options, expected outcome and possible side-effects is part of the relationship that Dr. Michael Kerin establishes so that goals can be met without surprises or misunderstanding.
Dr. Michael Kerin offers many services, both non-invasive and minimally invasive, to enhance your natural beauty, help maintain a youthful appearance, and boost your confidence. These services include Botox and fillers, SmartLipo, cellulite treatment, CoolSculpting, tattoo and permanent makeup removal, microneedling, PicoSure skin revitalization, weight loss with hCG, and varicose vein treatments. These treatments are in addition to those offered by our licensed aestheticians.
Dr. Michael Kerin is a board certified surgeon serving Westchester County and the North Bronx region for over 15 years. After completing medical school at the New Jersey Medical School, Dr. Kerin completed his surgical training at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Manhattan. He then began private practice in Westchester County, and moved his office to Tuckahoe. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. When not taking care of patients, Dr. Michael Kerin enjoys coaching youth basketball and spending time with his wife and children.
KAREN BLASI - OFFICE MANAGER
Karen is the spa manager for Kerin MedSpa and Laser Center. As a licensed cosmetologist, she has been in the beauty industry for 18 years. As office manager, Karen manages the procedure schedule, patients and employees to ensure the highest quality experience. Karen is certified in Cool Sculpting, Laser Hair Removal and Certified with Cynosure Laser systems. With these certifications, she can assist patients with any questions or concerns they may have, as well as assist with procedures. Karen is also the Laser Safety Officer for the MedSpa, to oversee that the New York Safety Guidelines are consistently met in our facility. Along with being office manager, Karen is an independent licensed cosmetologist who specializes in styling hair for weddings as well as other special events.
ANGELO RICANOR - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING MANAGER
Angelo graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and has over 13 years of experience in healthcare. Angelo also holds a degree in Dental Hygiene for over 7 years and has provided the highest standard of care to his patients while implementing programs that consistently increased revenue for the practice. He is Certified in Local Infiltration/Nitrous Oxide Analgesia. Angelo is a dedicated and focused individual who is responsible for growing the practice, building the Kerin MedSpa brand, and exploring new treatments and business opportunities. He firmly believes in optimizing the patient experience and is committed to becoming an integral part of the Kerin MedSpa team.
CARLEE MAGNETTI -MEDICAL AESTHETICIAN/ LASER TECHNICIAN
Carlee is a licensed aesthetician with over 4 years of training and exposure in the esthetic and laser industry. Noticing Connecticut doesn’t have extract licenses and training she went and graduated from The New York School of Esthetics in 2017 at the top of her class. She works closely with each individual to educate them about all appropriate options. She has also received her Laser Technician Certification and Safety Certification from iLaser Academy. She has received hands on training from Cynosure with the PicoSure laser. She has mastered tattoo removal as well as skin rejuvenation. Also received certifications in Laser Hair Removal for Yag and Alex wavelengths. Continuing her passion of the growing fields of esthetics, she also holds certifications in CooLifting, Chemical Peels, Back Treatments, Sculpture and Hydrafacial MD. Also preforms SmoothShapes to aid in reducing cellulite and inflammation on areas of the body. Aside from laser she also performs facials, high frequency, and microdermabrasions treatments. Also believing in at home care treatments to protect and replenish skin. She intends to keep learning and advancing as time goes on.
STEFANY - LICENSED AESTHETICIAN
Stefany is a licensed aesthetician with over 3 years of experience in esthetics and 6 years of experience in Dermatology. She received her license from CAPRI Institute and has a laser certification by the National Laser institute. Stefany started off her career in New Jersey but with limitations on procedures esthetician’s can do and little room for further growth, she decided to come to New York to learn and do more. Stefany is experienced in doing chemical peels, Micro-needling, Microdermabrasion and Hydra-facials. She loves putting together skincare regimens and customizing facials. Outside of work Stefany loves spending time with her son and fiancé. She enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants.
